Utah Historic Cove Fort

Description
Cove Fort was built in 1867 to serve as a way station and to provide safety, shelter, fresh water and livestock feed for travelers. The Fort is built of volcanic rock and limestone quarried nearby. The outer walls are 100 feet square and 18 feet high, with 12 rooms inside. Cove Fort is located near the intersection of I-70 & I-15.
