Years ago, I heard the saying, "Two of anything is a collection." Over time, I’ve realized just how true that is—yet most people don’t recognize their own treasures for what they are.

I have a neighbor with eight bikes and more than a dozen skateboards. I know a woman who has photographed her family at over 24 LDS Temples. Whether it’s a handful of hobbies or tens of thousands of Matchbox cars—or even that famous man with thousands of washing machines—these are all collections.
